Dolet was a famous French translator of the 16th-century. Our Dolet® software is also a translator, but this time between different music programs that previously would never talk to each other. The MusicXML import feature in Sibelius makes it much easier to read files from people who use other programs. But it has still been difficult to share your own music created in Sibelius with people using other programs. Now, Dolet 4 for Sibelius unchains your music by letting you save your scores as MusicXML 2.0 files. Together with Finale 2010 or Dolet 4 for Finale, you can share your music created with Sibelius 5 and 6 with people who use Finale, with higher accuracy than ever before. The same is true for the other music applications that read MusicXML 2.0 files. Finally, the limits to digital sheet music exchange are gone. If you have been using our Dolet 3 for Sibelius plug-in, you will be delighted at all the new and improved features in version 4. Chord symbol diagrams, beaming, cautionary accidentals, tablature staff tuning, double-note tremolos, cue-size notes, multirests, and blank pages are among the many new features that now translate from Sibelius to Finale. Like Dolet 4 for Finale, Dolet 4 for Sibelius lets you to translate an entire folder of scores into MusicXML format in one step. Dolet 4 for Sibelius is a plug-in for Sibelius 5 and 6 that saves MusicXML 2.0 files. It supports Sibelius versions 5.0 to 6.0, and runs on both Windows and Mac.
